The Wallflowers release their long-awaited new studio album Glad All Over. The first single, “Reboot The Mission,” is a Clash-inspired track with an unmistakable shuffle backbeat, featuring Mick Jones on vocals and guitar. The new album finds frontman Jakob Dylan joining original band members Greg Richling (bass) and Rami Jaffee (keyboards), with Wallflowers’ longtime guitarist Stuart Mathis and drummer Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam) rounding out the lineup. The album is being produced by Jay Joyce (Emmylou Harris, Cage the Elephant) and mixed by Rich Costey (Bruce Springsteen).

This much-anticipated album sees Jakob Dylan and original and longtime band members return to what they do best.
More of a rediscovery of the sound that brought The Wallflowers fame and success, this new album also showcases subtle new influences that have made their way into the songs without diluting the formula. It has been seven years since their last release, and 16 years since Bringing Down the Horse served up great songs such as ‘One Headlight’ and ‘6th Avenue Heartache’.
The first single, ‘Reboot the Mission’ with Mick Jones from the The Clash, will see The Wallflowers back with a vengeance.
