Recorded and mixed by ARIA Award nominated prod\nucer Forrester Savell (The Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Dead Letter\nCircus), “FLOATINGME” is an eclectic journey, veering from soothing\nto cathartic, subtle to powerful, cinematic to haunting. “The music\nof FLOATINGME is very different to Cog, Karnivool and Scarymother,\nbut it keeps the same ideals – to be fresh, progressive and\ninteresting”, describes drummer Lucius Borich. “The initial couple\nof tracks they sent through were just so grand and luscious and\nambient at the same time,” Savell says, explaining what drew him to\nthe project. “Straight away you could hear likeminded people\ncreating really interesting sounds and noises. There are heaps of\nthings going on, so that sort of glued me to working with\nthem.”
