Review

If you don’t know who the Tallis Scholars are, you are seriously missing out. It doesn’t particularly matter if you like accapella singing or not, these are some of the most beautiful musicians currently working and recording in the world. Formed in 1973, there was very little performed on the radio of Renaissance repertoire. Largely thanks to the hard work of Peter Phillips, the founder of the Tallis Scholars, this music has had it’s own ‘renaissance’ and is now frequently aired on sacred and secular radio stations alike.
