Review

This is a welcome addition to the everexpandingNaxos catalogue. Consideredamong the greatest works written for thecombination of violin, viola and cello, thisdivertimento is sure to delight anyone withinlistening distance. At nearly 50 minutes inlength, the three players involved never letthe music become static or dull, which is agreat compliment to them – and of course, the brilliance of Mozart. If your first love ischamber music – and even if it’s not – thenthis recording will not disappoint.
