Alongside the release of English singer-songwriter Bill Fay’s ‘Still Some Light: Part 1’ on vinyl for the first time, Dead Oceans announce a special series of 7” singles, consisting of different musicians’ interpretations of Bill Fay classics. Originally appearing on his 1971 LP “Time of the Last Persecution”, ‘I Hear You Calling’ is given a beautiful yet mournful, Dylan-esque reworking by US indie rock star Kevin Morby complimented by Fay’s original on the B-Side.
