Esther Yoo's latest studio album comes 6 years after her recording of the Tchaikovsky violin concerto with Vladimir Ashkenzy and the Philharmonia Orchestra.
This new recording is dedicated to the concertos of Barber and Bruch, pieces that have helped Yoo grow as an artist. This is her first collaboration with the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Orchestra led by Vasily Petrenko and consolidates her international fame.
'Yankee Doodle' by Vieuxtemps closes the album and is closely connected to Esther Yoo's multicultural background gained through experiences in the United States, Europe and Korea where she grew up.
