Review

Fans of contemporary choral music must be simply jumping for joy at the moment. Not only is there the release of a new Arvo Part work, but there’s this stunning recording of lamented Gorecki. Three works are featured on this disc with the Losa Angeles Master Chorale. Grant Gershon is conducting the Lobgesang, Piesni Maryjne and Miserere. Each work is delicately crafted and would be appreciated by anyone who needs something a little soothing after a long day at work.
