Deutsche Grammophon and Claudio Abbado joined forces in 2011 and released two albums of Mozart Wind Concertos. Here we have the Sinfonia Concertante for Winds as well as the ever popular Flute & Harp. Jacques Zoon is well known to flautists for his orchestral prowess and here he lends his delicate wooden sound along with Letizia Belmondo on Harp in a lovely performance. The four musicians in the Concertante are virtuosic soloists without forgetting that this piece is truly a conversation between very good friends.
