Our top three bestsellers have been in our charts for several tenacious weeks now.

Philip Pullman’s long-awaited return to the world of the His Dark Materials trilogy takes out the number one spot. Described by our reviewer as ‘darkly thrilling, deliciously tense and dangerously addictive’, La Belle Sauvage is fantasy at its finest, suitable for adults, teens and newcomers to Pullman’s writing.

Following close at Pullman’s heels is the utterly enchanting fantasy adventure for ages 9 and up, Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow (our staff wax lyrical about it here), and superstar YA author John Green’s Turtles All The Way Down.

Two new bestsellers this week are beloved Australian picture book author Alison Lester’s The Very Noisy Baby, a funny story of a vocally gifted and very useful baby for ages 2 and up, and our children’s book of the month – the award-winning The Girl Who Drank the Moon, a magical story about hope and the family you make.
