Big machine books for little people

If you have a small person in your life, you no doubt have more than a passing knowledge of all things trucks, trains, planes, and automobiles. With Christmas coming, you might be on the look-out for something that's going to save you from reading that one book you know by heart even one more time. We're here to help!

Here are some of our favourite books about big machines for the young obsessives who love them so.

Snakes On a Train by Kathryn Dennis

Just to be clear, this is not the sequel to a certain Samuel L. Jackson film. It's a very wholesome, bright and cheerful picture book about, well, snakes on a train. Full of sibilant sounds and other wordplay it's a sure-fire hit for reading aloud.
