Melbournians rejoice – not only is there an Underbelly series we can legally watch this time, but the producers have promised more nudity! If that isn’t enough to whet your appetite, this collection of stories the second series is based on is a rollicking read – like all the Underbelly books, it’s immaculately researched and well-written, evoking an era of which many Australians, perhaps strangely, remember with nostalgia. The book is due out a bit before the show, so get yourself ready. There isn’t as much bedroom action on paper, but it promises to be equally entertaining.
