The President's Last Love

Sergei Pavlovich Bunin, a Ukranian, lives in the futuristic world of 2015 – and is president of the Ukranian Republic. Some weird things are going on in his life: his heart transplant is causing odd side effects, and his chest, shoulders, forearms and hands are becoming covered with freckles. Then there are the battles of his presidency to deal with.

Written in the form of short diary entries, The President’s Last Love flits back and forth between entries from the 1970s, 80s and Bunin’s life in the future. Those who like speculative fiction set in vague, futuristic worlds will no doubt enjoy it.
