This recent visitor (she was a standout at the Port Fairy Folk Festival) finally gets a local release for an album that is nearly 18 months old. She was immersed in the British folk scene thanks to her performing father (Steve) and stepmother (Maggie Boyle) and seems to have soaked up some of the qualities of their contemporaries (Bert Jansch and John Renbourn). This is a beautiful album and a must for fans of Kate Rusby or Kathryn Williams.
