On this follow up to 2005’s Oddortorium or Warlords of Mars it’s not until track 4’s (Wasp in the Lotus) that you realise you are in fact listening to the Dandy Warhols. From here on in, it’s classic Dandys with swirling guitar drones (Dreamt of Yes), spacey harmonies (Talk Radio) and languid atmospherics. It’s no Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia (then again… what is?), but the Dandys have delivered another quality album that will keep their legions of fans happy and ensure another sold-out world tour.
