Long regarded as Australia’s pre-eminent female soul and R&B singer, Geyer returns with another fine album to showcase her great voice. She has chosen some excellent songs too: ‘Why Can’t We Live Together’, James Brown’s ‘It’s A Man’s World’ … all backed up by a top notch band. The record sounds great – her voice is still strong. Anyone with even a passing interest in Renee Geyer is well advised to check this out.
