King Krule’s third studio album Man Alive! was written as a direct reaction to the non-stop energy of touring his previous album The Ooz. Increasingly self-sufficient in the studio - he has manned most of the instruments himself - Man Alive! is filled with King Krule’s trademark sonic ambition and compositional skill, as well as the now-familiar corrosive lyricism and lurid social observation.
