The much-loved Open House Melbourne Weekend is back with its 11th annual printed July program.
Open House Melbourne is a public architecture organisation that empowers citizens to be active participants in the building of their city. Their annual program of talks, tours, and interviews explores issues, challenges and success stories of Melbourne’s built environment. At the heart of the program is the much-loved Open House Weekend, taking place on the 28 + 29 July in 2018, where 220 significant buildings and sites across the city open their doors so you can learn how the built environment and urban planning initiatives and issues influence our culture and shape our cities.
The program features 338 pages (38 pages more than 2017!), packed with everything you need to plan your Open House Melbourne Weekend and to make the most out of the month-long festival of architecture that is the July Program. Free talks, exhibitions and walking tours take place from the 4th July.
This year’s program once again includes a fold-out map developed in partnership with the Koorie Heritage Trust, featuring a contemporary Aboriginal design and architecture walking tour.
Your program purchase supports Open House Melbourne’s status as a registered charity.
