AUTHOR: Linda Pumphrey is an award winning quilter and quilt historian who also enjoyed a career in the quilting industry. She serves on several national boards including the International Quilt Study Center & Museum, Quilt Alliance, International Quilt Association and Quilts Inc Advisory Council. For 20 years, Linda was the National and International Sales Manager for Mountain Mist, the original inventor of filler products and quilt battings. While at Mountain Mist, Linda acted as curator of the Historical Mountain Mist Corporate Quilt collection and was instrumental in bringing the collection to IQSCM. She is recently retired from AccuQuilt as Global Sales manager where she oversaw the sales strategies for both new and existing products and was instrumental in developing AccuQuilt die designs from 2010 to 2014.
