Olivia the Spy

Ian Falconer

Everyone’s favourite pig is about to have a surprise trip to the ballet!

But when Olivia overhears her mother complaining about her recent naughty behaviour, her imagination runs wild and she decides to find out everything being said about her … until her eavesdropping leads her to believe she is being carted off to prison!

Review

If you want a picture book about a little pig with attitude you can’t go past Olivia. She’s willful, mischievous and so much fun. This time Olivia overhears her mother talking and believes she is going to put her in prison for being naughty. Suddenly, Olivia goes from being annoyingly prominent to being an invisible spy as she tries to work out what her mother is up to. However, eavesdropping nearly always leads to misinterpretation, as Olivia finds out. It’s great to have Olivia back and anyone from 2 and up will have lots of laughs at her crazy ways.
