Senior Detective Jim Patterson, the head of the Metro's serious crimes unit, and Maggie's life long friend, once again is heavily involved in both cases. In fact Jim is so involved that Maggie, who has always been undecided with regards to her sexual preference, Is beginning to look at Jim as more than just a life long friend
