This is a very action-packed romantic thriller.
Lovely little Lily and her dog Foxy travel through the dangerous war-torn countries of Africa, Iraq, and then ghetto America encountering lots of charismatic characters. There's lots of danger, adventure, atrocities, romance, and humor here. Lily originally meets Foxy when she takes a job as a maid and dog caretaker for a rich Saudi family that travels the world. At the time Lily is a poverty-stricken Filipina in Manilla and the job seems like a dream come true to travel the world while making money. Lily later becomes aware the family father has ties to terrorism and organized crime businesses. Lily's subjected to atrocious sights as her dream job becomes a nightmare.
In America she runs away from her job, but the danger follows her with a vengeance. Lily crosses paths with terrorists and escapes repeatedly but finds herself in the New York ghetto struggling to survive as an illegal immigrant. She tries to go the honest route working for cash but keeps getting crossed up in dangers due to her neighborhoods and companions. She eventually has to flee the city to Washington, DC where once again troubles find her. Inadvertently she ends up implicated in robbing a crime boss and is on the run once again. Her friend Anita is actually the thief and shares the wealth with her in exchange for saving her life. The women then flee with Foxy
