Before publishing this novel, I shared early copies with a few close friends to gather their thoughts. To my surprise, some were struck by the uncanny resemblance between the story-particularly the second chapter-and the life of a well-known actor. A few were even convinced the events were entirely factual, a claim I categorically deny.

This novel is a work of pure fiction. The confusion likely stems from my dedication to weaving historical accuracy seamlessly into the narrative. On a lighter note, one friend was so persuaded by the story that he insisted on seeing the actor's original memoirs-I had quite a time trying to convince him that they don't actually exist!
