Soaking seeds in plasma activated water (12 and 24 hours) improved germination and growth vigor. Barrier discharge treatment for 4 minutes with cooling for 72 hours gave the highest yield increase.The results confirm the promising potential of physical methods of seed treatment to improve maize productivity.
