Candlestick: Night FAC over Laos

This collection of simple tales is dedicated to those who were sent into harm’s way as members of the U.S. military. In talking with those who served in different capacities in a wide range of wars, actions, police actions, or military engagements, I have learned that every person’s experience was unique, and always very personal. Few had anything funny happen to them. Fewer still have had the love and support to be able to tell our personal stories to release the demons. This book is also dedicated to those who have shared or are still sharing my life and who have supported me all the years since September 1, 1970, my DEROS from Southeast Asia. Finally, I dedicate this collection of stories to my U.S. Air Force pilot training class, 69-07 (The Magnificent Seven) of Laredo Air Force Base, in the land of the big BX.
