Driving to Mulberrygong

Driving to Mulberrygong is the final collection of Adelaide poet Miriel Lenore, her selection from more than thirty years of writing. Some poems have never been published, some are long-time favourites.

The collection brings together themes arising from the writer's varied and adventurous life: country kid, botanist, researcher, traveller, student, teacher, activist, feminist, mother, grandmother. Miriel spent twenty years in Fiji, forty years in the Australian women's movement and the Adelaide writing scene, and ten years as a regular visitor to a Ngaanyatjarra community in the Western Desert of Western Australia.
