Poems from the Heart is an inspirational poetical journey of Mary's life, inspiration taken from her experience of love, romance and family, from wars from Vietnam to Ukraine, from Artists and music and from life itself. It is a life story put to poetry illuminating a unique and personal human light. It is an extensive poetical travel journey from Auschwitz to Mexico. Inspired by music from John Lennon, Leonard Cohen and Blues singers the world over. Inspired by the Artists from Picasso to Van Gough, from Da Vinci to Dali It shows endurance from love and pain, War and Peace, bereavement and suffering and the strength found through poetry to keep going and to see the beauty of the Planet and the endurance of human beings, everything a human being can lose and survive, told with the use of poetic verse. This is Mary's poetry and, as Leonard Cohen said, if you don't like what you read, skip over the ones you don't like and move on to the next, but I hope that you enjoy it.
