AUTHOR: Art historian, Elena Kalnitskaya, has been the Director General of the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve since 2009. During her tenure as director, she has organised large-scale restoration work in the palaces and parks of Peterhof and Oranienbaum. She has contributed to the implementation of a large-scale program for the development of the museum: holding major Russian and international exhibitions, organising scientific conferences, and publishing the catalogues of the collection.
