Best Practices in E- Governance

Seeing how technology particularly the internet has advanced and how important it has become the governments realized that they can make use of this electronic technology particularly the worldwide internet in rendering services to its citizens. Thus, e- governance was developed. It is now an innovative way of leading and soon turned into a healthy competition within states to see which could come up with the best policies to keep balances and bring progress.

E- Governance is the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to improve the activities of public sector organizations. At present, e-governance has been spread all throughout the world and we will be discussing the most important ones such as: Korea, Australia, France, New Zealand, America, India and developing countries. Our main point of focus will be the services that e- governance provides, how it is developed in each of the upper-mentioned countries, their best policies etc.

The vision of the new strategy means to put the people and their communities at the center of a new knowledge-based and connected government that can provide them with services that they can trust. It is from this vantage point that this strategy aims to achieve its much-aspired objective of going beyond data and systems and more towards the genuine goal of changing how government operates.
