I have heard it said many times that people are either: -In the middle of a storm -Coming out of a storm -Heading into a storm A storm is a good analogy because there are so many different types of real storms that we encounter in life. Some are swift and come out of nowhere like a sudden thunderstorm on a summer day. The day starts out clear and beautiful, but before you know it, you are surrounded by wind and rain. Some storms you can see coming from a long way off (like a hurricane). It is slow and plodding, but relentless and menacing. It might deviate from its path, and you might be able to avoid its full wrath, but inevitably destruction follows wherever the hurricane touches. No matter the type of storm, being prepared and knowing what to do when the storm strikes can help you better navigate whatever comes your way. When you don’t know what to do, do what you know to do: Pray Participate in Fellowship Praise God It is a simple formula, but it works.
