At number one for the second consecutive month is Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, but hot on its heels after only a few days of April sales is Dervla McTiernan's latest standalone novel Three Reasons for Revenge, which our reviewer says is 'a satisfyingly twisty psychological thriller'.
April was a great month for nonfiction, including releases from international superstars Patrick Radden Keefe and Lena Dunham, and a local collaboration between award-winning writer Bruce Pascoe & astrophysicist Professor Ray Norris, Big Sky: When the Emu Left the Earth. A special mention also goes to Stephanie Alexander whose The Cook's Companion celebrated its 30th anniversary with a beautiful new edition.
