Mission: find the heart of St Kilda

This February, team up with pals on a mission around St Kilda in an Amazing Race style contest to raise funds for Sacred Heart Mission.

To celebrate Sacred Heart Mission’s 30th anniversary, the local institution is holding Mission: find the heart of St Kilda - a fundraising race where teams follow clues to ‘pit stops’, complete challenges and try to stave off rivals.

Contestants will learn about how the community keeps the Mission ticking each day; will they have to source some rescued food for lunch for 350 people? Pick up a donation for the op shops? Sing a song to the aged care residents? Make a banner for the Mission’s Hearts footy team?

Teams will vie for prizes in their field - fastest to complete the circuit in each category, the team that raises the most money and the best fancy dress – while fundraising for the Mission by getting family and friends to sponsor them.

The race will be held on Sunday, 24 February with staggered starts from 12pm at Catani Gardens and will coincide with Sacred Heart Mission’s Open Day from 2-5pm at 87 Grey Street.
