Authors Marilyn Lake and Henry Reynolds (the winners of the 2009 Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Non-fiction for Drawing the Global Colour Line) will discuss their new book, What’s Wrong With Anzac? The Militarisation of Australian History with Joy Damousi and Jeff Sparrow.

Marilyn and Henry believe it is time to call a halt to the relentless militarisation of Australian history that has seen “classrooms deluged by curriculum materials produced by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.” In this brave and controversial book, Australia’s leading historians dare to criticise Anzac.
