Hosted by Gabrielle Wang, one of Australia’s most esteemed and award-winning children’s authors and Australian Children’s Laureate for 2022–23, this workshop for adult writers will run from 10am to 12.30pm and is perfect for beginners and emerging children's book writers.

In this workshop you'll:

• learn the fundamentals of writing picture books – structure, pacing etc.
• brainstorm ideas
• storyboard an idea
• create a mini picture book draft
