Or: an Autobiography by Toby Fitch — Readings Books

We are delighted to have Alex Creece launching Toby Fitch's Or: an Autobiography. Hosted by Tim loveday.

Or: an Autobiography explores in poetry fluidities of self, body and imagination. Its central book-length poem 'The Or Tree' is an alternative version of the fictional poem, 'The Oak Tree', which was written by Virginia Woolf's character Orlando (who in turn was a fictional rendition of Vita Sackville-West).

Born in London and raised on unceded Gadigal land, Toby Fitch (he/they) is a lecturer in creative writing at the University of Sydney, former poetry editor of Overland, and the author of nine books of poetry.

Alex Creece will launch the collection, with readings by Ender Başkan and Elena Gomez.
