Here, he celebrates his love of Asian cooking: the great flavours, the contrasts in tastes and textures, and the way that just about anything can be cooked with a wok. Balance & Harmony is in effect a cooking course conducted by the Rockpool master chef, progressing from the easiest steamed, stir-fried, braised and deep-fried dishes, to more challenging and intricate plates. In October 2006, Neil opened Rockpool Bar & Grill in the Crown Complex in Melbourne to immediate acclaim.
