Cinema Nova presents the internationally-acclaimed Australian author Robyn Davidson who will discuss the book-to-film adaptation of her memoir Tracks, following a preview screening of the film.

Tracks is based on the inspirational and iconic true story of Robyn’s (played by Mia Wasikowska) phenomenal solo trek from Alice Springs to Uluru and on to the Indian Ocean, traversing 2700km of spectacular yet unforgiving Australian desert accompanied only by her loyal dog and four unpredictable camels.

Robyn will be joined at the film screening by photographer Rick Smolan.
