The Hope Prize is the Brotherhood of St Laurence’s national short-story competition, judged by Cate Blanchett, Quentin Bryce and Kate Grenville. Supported by the generosity of the late Prudence Myer, the Readings Foundation, and publisher Simon & Schuster, it encourages writers to explore resilience in the face of adversity.
