Lee Kofman and Andy Jackson with Christine Gordon
Readings Carlton — 309 Lygon St, Carlton, Victoria, 3053
Join author Lee Kofman, poet Andy Jackson and Readings’ events and programming manager Christine Gordon for a conversation about body diversity and body image. Jackson’s latest book, Music Our Bodies Can’t Hold, is written in the voices of forty-six different people who have, or are thought to have had, Marfan syndrome. Kofman’s most recent book Imperfect is based on a decade-long investigation into body image driven by her need to better understand her own experience.

Celebrating 50 years of Readings
Readings is celebrating our 50 year history in 2019. To honour the stories that have emerged from the books on our shelves, we are hosting 50 special events that illustrate passion, artistry and Australian literature. We hope you will join us.
This is our 33rd event of the series.
