Willie Nelson has dueted with many people, but never before has he been so oddly coupled in recording. Recorded live over two nights at The Lincoln Center in New York last year, this is one of the more difficult to categorise albums of the past 10 years: is it jazz, blues, country, pop?

This unusual pairing have clearly enjoyed themselves in making this and that joy comes across in the recording. It’s mostly old classics here, including Bright Lights Big City, Stardust, Georgia on my Mind and Ain’t Nobody’s Business.
