Not another Twilight-related book, I hear you say! Well, this isn't just another Twilight-related book, it's also a fascinating resource for movie buffs and film students and other creative types as well.

Twilight: Director's Notebook is designed to replicate director Catherine Hardwicke's personal notebook and visual diary that she kept while working on the movie. It features sketches, storyboards, reference photographs, background research and notes. It's really interesting to see how Hardwicke put together the on-screen world of Edward and Bella. What I found really interesting was reading about how many times Hardwicke had to change her plans due to logistics or budgetary restrictions, and how inventive she and her crew had to be to achieve the effects they wanted.
