The Treasure House by Linda Newbery
When Nina’s
mother mysteriously runs off leaving only a short note and a few
texts, Nina is determined to find out where her mother has gone and
what made her leave so suddenly. Strange clues begin to turn up at
the second hand store run by Nina’s two great-aunts while Nina is
helping out there, and she embarks on a mission involving
treasures, secrets, recycled fashions and even llamas!
The Treasure House is a nice story about family with charming characters and a great plot.
