The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey: Trenton Lee Stewart
What could measure up to the excitement of being recruited into a secret society – to infiltrate and expose a nefarious organisation with only your own wits, puzzle-solving abilities and acrobatic prowess to help you?
We rejoin the members of the Mysterious Benedict Society half a year after the events of the first book. Reynie, Kate, Sticky and Constance are safe and happy in their new homes, but also a little bit bored. Reunited, the kids are plunged into an even more perilous mission as they journey across the world to save their benefactor.
What makes this adventure series so enjoyable is the friendships between the main characters and the idea that family is where you make it. Well, that and the mind-bending mission.
