The latest novel by the author of the international bestseller The Shadow of the Wind is pitched at a young adult audience, but will also be enjoyed by adults.

Set in the streets of Calcutta, it is a fast-paced tale of tragic family secrets and the supernatural. The protagonists are a tightly bonded group of 16-year-olds who meet regularly at an abandoned house they call the Midnight Palace. By the time Ben discovers he is actually a twin who was separated at birth, the group have only a few days to uncover his past before it chases him down.
