This book is about a boy called Leo (mainly) who has a box that leads into the mysterious world of Rondo. He and his friends try to stop the Blue Queen making the great potion that will take over Rondo. They visit the Tideseer who tells them a riddle about the future to help them on their quest. But are they ready for what lies in the Blue Queen’s hands?

This book is really heart pumping with great suspense. The author described certain parts so well that I could picture what was happening easily. I think the ending is a bit too relaxed. I would’ve liked a surprise! I recommend this book to anyone over eight years old and I think adults would like it too. I haven’t read the first two books in the Rondo series but that doesn’t matter. This book makes sense on its own.
