Somewhere Else by Gus Gordon

Quite often home is the best place in the world and so it seems for George Lombard, a beret-wearing duck. When his friends are flying ‘Somewhere Else’ and having adventures in exotic places, George turns to baking, for which he is held in high regard. His appreciative feathered friends are always urging him to experience other places but sadly, unbeknownst to them, he can’t fly. One day Pascal Lombard, George’s friend bear, learns his secret and, after a few hitches, comes up with a plan to help his friend travel. George is adorable and his baking looks a treat – which is certainly what a new picture book from Gus Gordon is. Children aged 3–6 will love George.
