Yusuf (Cat Stevens) has returned with a ‘new’ album that has a decidedly ‘old’ sound. By that, I mean that the great memories of his classic songs of the 70s all come flooding back upon hearing this CD. Yusuf has been working on a musical, Moonshadow, which will begin its season in London later this year and four of the tracks from this album will feature.

The songs here are very personal and express his need to confide to us that he is a troubadour seeking enlightenment. He is clearly at peace with himself and wants us to know it, so ultimately you will share his joy upon hearing these great new songs.
