The pieces here are taken from Rameau’s most important works for the stage, Les Indes Galantes, Les Boreades, Nais and Zoroastre. The playing from all the musicians is as close to perfect as one can get, and this reviewer never tires of the sound of the authentic baroque sound. This is Rameau played perfectly and beautifully. Savall lets the music speak to your soul.
