In this book you will be pulled into the magical world of wizards, and strange creatures. The reader goes on an adventure with a group of weary travellers. They include, Beetle, a half-rat, half-man creature called Ephania who can only speak in squeaks and Princess Jenna and her brother, Septimus Heap. The group is searching for Nicko and Snorri, who are missing.

Just to warn you (not that it's a bad thing) there are a few side stories about things that happen to other characters that the main characters usually meet somewhere in the story, which I thought was very interesting.

This book is one of the best I have ever read; it has lots of interesting plot twists and really keeps you going. Once I started reading I couldn't stop. I think this is my all-time favourite book as it has funny, scary and dramatic parts. I love this book and I am so glad it was written.
