The second of Savall’s CD had a high standard to live up to and it does it exceptionally well. Her gentle melodies beautifully complement her style of harp playing with some expert accompaniment from a variety of instruments such as the orb, guitar, double bass and buzuki. Taking inspiration from a Taoist tale of a magic harp, this album uses a number of different languages to inspire the listener. Arianna Savall is a true virtuoso of the harp, coupled with her distinctive vocal and compositional styles she is an artist that all music lovers should include in their collections.
