This disc put Hildegard firmly on the map. The collection of music and poetry is drawn mainly from the Abbess of Bingen’s ‘the symphony of the harmony of celestial revelations’. Beautifully performed and recorded, this recording has attracted much acclaim over the years and it’s well deserved.
